Sara and Terra, a couple of lazy sods

On Sunday, October 28, the Nomad Community converted the street corner and its street parking spaces into a neighborhood park for the day. We rolled out sod and enjoyed face painting, pumpkin decorating, games, green grass and sunshine. We had a great day, and a lot of people turned out to spend time with us. We appreciate so many people coming to enjoy the day and helping us visualize the possibilities for more community-based uses of our public spaces. Huge thanks to Sara and Terra for coordinating such an awesome event.
